Houston Health Department COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution

Bayou City Event Center, 9401 Knight Road, Houston, TX 77045, is honored to have became one of the country's first mass vaccine distribution sites in December of 2020.  We are proud  to have been able to service those individuals that needed to get the vaccine as well as help our community get on the other side of COVID-19.  Since we were able to address the vaccine demand very efficiently here, there is no longer a need for a mass vaccine distribution on-site.  The vaccine is now readily available at many other Houston locations.  To find a location near you, Google search "COVID-19 vaccine near me" or contact the Houston Health Department:

Harris County Property Auctions

The Harris County Property Auctions are held the first Tuesday of every month at Bayou City Event Center.  COVID-19 has led to the cancellation of this event several times. We are keeping the status of each month listed below:

Permanent Notification: The Auctions are currently ACTIVE and being executed on the first Tuesday of every month since June of 2021.  Currently, the User is still requiring temperature checks at the gate entrance and masks be worn.  With COVID-19, User was able to expand the space utilized into both our indoor and outdoor facilities.  As a quick rule of thumb, all precinct auctions may be found in the indoor Grand and Lakeview Ballrooms.  All other auctions are being held underneath the fully covered, large outdoor pavilion located on the South end of the property.  Registration for precinct auctions can be found in the front lobby of the Grand Ballroom.
